The Nationals Member for Shepparton District, Kim O’Keeffe, invites local community groups to seize the opportunity and apply for the latest round of Dyson Community Grants.
These grants have been designed to provide essential funding for sporting, welfare, and community groups across Victoria. Since its inception, approximately 70 grants have been awarded, making a significant difference in various communities.
Ms O’Keeffe said this new round is an excellent opportunity for local groups to secure funding towards projects that will have local impact.
“Our vibrant community groups have exciting projects in the pipeline, and this grant round is a great opportunity to apply for funding that will turn those visions into reality,” she said.
“Eligible organisations include pre-schools, primary and secondary schools sporting clubs, non-profit organisations, charities, welfare agencies, local societies and emergency services.
“The tireless work these groups do, and their positive impact in the community, cannot be underestimated,” said Ms O’Keeffe.
“We’re so fortunate to have many hardworking volunteers who dedicate their time. I would encourage all that are eligible to apply before the September 30 deadline.”
There are two rounds of grants up for grabs annually, with $10,000 available each time. The maximum grant amount is $1,000.
