The Shepparton District has close to 50,000 residents covering an area of more than 3,289 square kilometres. The Shepparton District is home to townships of Ardmona, Barmah, Congupna, Dookie, Katunga, Kialla, Mooroopna, Nathalia, Picola, Strathmerton, Shepparton, Tallygaroopna, Tatura and Toolamba. The district is also home to the Barmah National Park, which is the world’s largest River Red Gum Forest.
But also, the Shepparton District is the heart of the Food Bowl of Australia, that produces high quality fruit and vegetables, agriculture, dairy and food processing. We have a diverse range of manufacturing and industries as well as businesses both large and small. But also, the Shepparton District plays home to global leading iconic brands.
