Applications are now open for the 2025–26 Men’s Shed Funding Program, with grants of up to $100,000 on offer.
Applications that focus on inclusiveness and accessibility will be highly favoured, with funding available for several purposes, including:
- the construction of new Men’s Sheds, including the conversion of existing buildings
- the refurbishment, extension, or upgrade of existing Men’s Sheds
- the purchase of major shed equipment for use in Men’s Sheds
The Nationals’ Member for Shepparton District, Kim O’Keeffe, is urging local Men’s Sheds to put forward projects for funding.
“We all know the vital role Men’s Sheds play in bringing people together and creating social connections,” she said.
“They play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of so many people across our community.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to assist our Men’s Sheds to have the facilities and equipment that they need so that they can keep doing what they do best—supporting men in meaningful and practical ways.
“I strongly encourage Men’s Sheds across our region to take this opportunity to apply and grow their impact in the community.”
