The Nationals Member for Shepparton District Kim O’Keeffe is encouraging local organisations to apply for the Regional Tourism Investment Fund 2024.
“This is an exciting funding opportunity for our region to develop and enhance tourism infrastructure, increase investment, showcase our region and to boost the local economy,” Ms O’Keeffe said.
“The fund offers grants from $100,000 to $5 million per project and is aimed at supporting tourism infrastructure projects in regional and rural Victoria.”
It focuses on the five key priorities identified in the Experience Victoria 2033 strategy: arts and culture, food and drink, nature, wellness and First Peoples-led experiences.
The fund comprises three grant streams:
- Stream 1 — Small-scale projects: between $100,000 and $1 million
- Stream 2 — Large-scale projects: between $1,000,001 and $5 million
- Stream 3 — Accommodation uplift: between $500,000 and $2 million
Applicants can only submit one application for either Stream 1, 2, or 3.
“I encourage all eligible applicants in the region to take advantage of this funding opportunity.”
Applications for the Regional Tourism Investment Fund 2024 will close at 2pm on Friday, 19 July 2024.
