The Nationals’ Member for Shepparton District, Kim O’Keeffe, is encouraging local community members to nominate outstanding women for the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.
The Honour Roll seeks to recognise women demonstrating remarkable leadership and excellence in their field of expertise, interest, or endeavour, or through their commitment to the community.
Women can be nominated across one of five categories:
- History Heroine (posthumous)
- Emerging Leader (aged 16-35)
- Local Champion
- Trailblazer
- Change Agent
All nominees must be:
- A woman
- Have been born in Victoria, or have spent a considerable part of their life in the state
- Have made a significant and lasting contribution at a local, state, national or international level
“Our region is blessed to have so many extraordinary women who have made meaningful contributions to their communities.
“The Victorian Honour Roll of Women is not only a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible women across all parts of the state but to also express our gratitude for their dedication and commitment.”
