The Nationals Member for Shepparton District, Kim O’Keeffe, is encouraging local football and netball clubs to apply for the 2023-24 Country Football and Netball Program grants.
Grants of up to $250,000 are available to make more sport infrastructure developments a reality, including court and oval lighting upgrades, change room developments and new pavilions for local clubs and communities.
“I have been strongly lobbying for vital upgrades to our sporting facilities, particularly as many clubs are operating out of run down facilities and several are still recovering after being badly impacted by flooding last year.
“Our local sporting groups deserve the opportunity to play sport and have access to the very best local facilities, and I would really encourage all netball and football teams to make use of this grant round and turn their upgrades into a reality,” said Ms O’Keeffe.
