Local secondary students are encouraged to enter the 2025 Premier’s Spirit of ANZAC Prize competition.
The Nationals’ Member for Shepparton, Kim O’Keeffe, said the competition is open to students in Years 9-12, with an incredible prize on offer.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for secondary students to increase their understanding and appreciation of our military history,” Ms O’Keeffe said.
“Submissions can be made in a range of formats including an essay, poem, short story, or even a musical composition.”
Twelve students from across Victoria will be selected to take part in a fully funded, 11-day overseas study tour to Türkiye, visiting significant war heritage sites. All travel expenses will be covered, making it a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“This is an amazing opportunity for the students who are fortunate enough to embark on the study tour, and I urge interested students in Years 9-12 to apply,” Ms O’Keeffe said.
Entries close on 28 April 2025.
